Today posed significant challenges with many of Profiler's top prospects drawn wide or placed unfavorably according to the speed maps. Hurricane Thunder had to drop back to last early on but made a strong late surge, ultimately falling short after covering too much ground. Dehorned Unicorn struggled with the rider for most of the race but managed to finish strongly. Projeto benefited from a favorable position turning for home, running inside the short-priced favorite. When asked to contest the lead, the gelding stubbornly secured a victory right at the post.
